Car presentations
This week the F1 presentation of every car took place.The countdown to the first race is approaching and the teams are starting to do the private tests before starting the grand prix in the calendar, ubicated in Bahrain the weekend of the 5th of March.
Alpine has presented the A523. The French company has been practicing in Le Castellet. Pink and blue are the main colors that represent the company this year, their third in Formula 1. However, Alpine has added black details to the side that make it look better and give a bit of creativity compared to last year.
Alpha Tauri, has presented the ninth car in the calendar in the city of New York. The company has said that we won’t see it until the F1 tests in Bahrain.The design is pretty much the same as last year but one thing changes it all, the main sponsorship of ORLEN, the red details add more variety of colors to the car and that's why it’s different and creative.
This 18th of february, the Mercedes AMG F1 team has presented the eight car of the season. For most fans it is the best in terms of designs, livery and colors. Mercedes has broken most of its history and knowledge about the brand called ´´silver arrows`` the car is entirely black with some white and blue or green details, depending on the driver.
Ferrari has announced their SF-23 in Maranello, the Ferrari database center ubicated in Italy. On the same day of the presentation, the Ferrari’s drivers: Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, did some laps on the track inside Maranello. The famous company always surpasses expectations with its red, competitive car designs. And this year is no exception.
Aston Martin has announced his AMR23, the car that Fernando Alonso will drive this season.The company ubicated in the UK has presented the new car in the main Silverstone track. The team have done the practise and presentation but now we will have to wait to see Fernando driving in his new team at the first career of the season.
Mclaren has developed his car based on the 60 years the company has existed. The F1 team ubicated in the UK has announced his MCL60, which will compete another year in F1. With a chrome sponsorship and the prior mentioned 60 years milestone, the livery is very beautiful and the orange,black and blue colors are organized very well in the car.
The Italian team has presented their 2023 car that is almost the same as last year but changing the white for black. Alfa Romeo has made his debut at the C43 in the F1 practices in Bahrain one week before the Grand Prix.The two drivers were amazed about the livery because they considered that the car looked very pretty and fierce at the same time.
The third team to announce was Williams Racing, the historic team around the 80’s/90’s ubicated in Grove (UK) has shown their FW45, the car that Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant will drive in the F1 2023 season.Williams has included a different type of blue to the car just because the previous years was a darker blue. They also have included red near the tires and in the back of the car.
​On the other hand, this 3rd of february RedBull have shown the RB19 in New York. The current winners of the constructors championship, lead by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, have announced the car with which they hope to take the championship two years in a row. The car is almost the same as last year and they maintain the essentials of the team, such as their characteristic dark blue.
On The 31st of January Haas F1 was the first team to announce their car (VF-23). The main colors are black and white because they have eliminated the russian flag due to the sponsorship of Uralkali (a russian company) and the war in Ukraine. Recently the VF-23 has been released around the Silverstone Circuit in the UK.
